What kind of Costa Rica transportation do you offer?
Private, door-to-door transportation in northwest Costa Rica, available 24/7. We pick you up at Liberia Airport (LIR), your hotel or your rental and drive you to the Guanacaste beaches, the Nicoya Peninsula, La Fortuna or Monteverde in a private vehicle for your group only.
Is this a shuttle with a fixed schedule?
No. Every ride is a private vehicle for your group only, picked up at the time you choose and driven straight to your door. We operate 24/7, including late-night and early-morning flights.
How long is the drive from Liberia Airport (LIR) to Tamarindo?
Roughly 1 hour 15 minutes by private vehicle, depending on traffic and the time of day.
Can I get a private transfer from Liberia Airport to Nosara or Santa Teresa?
Yes. Nosara is about 2 to 2.5 hours from LIR and Santa Teresa about 3.5 to 4.5 hours, partly on unpaved roads. We plan both as door-to-door private transfers.
Do you offer transfers between destinations, not just from the airport?
Yes. Routes such as Tamarindo to La Fortuna, La Fortuna to Monteverde, and Nosara to Santa Teresa are part of the planned service.
How do I book before the website launches?
Email info@costaricanorthwest.com with your travel date, pickup and drop-off locations, number of passengers and luggage, and your flight number if you're arriving at LIR.
